You are not a failure if you have a panic attack.
You are not a failure if you are overwhelmed.
You are not a failure when you feel that you can’t go on.
You’re telling yourself you shouldn’t be so sad or hurt.
That’s a lie- your feelings are real. Life hurts. It’s hard. It’s sad. Pain is real. Your disappointments and frustrations are important.
Your grief matters.
You’re telling yourself you should be over this by now. And you’re wondering if you will make it …
YOU WILL!
Keep holding on.
You will find joy. Keep fighting.
•
Don’t beat yourself up.
Anxiety does not define you.
Depression does not own you.
•
You can break the cycle.
•
Make the appointment with a counselor.
•
DO IT.
•
I know scheduling an appointment is overwhelming but you got this
For me personally reading the bible (I started in Matthew), listening to Christian music, praying, going to a counselor and being a part of a local church saved my life ❤ (of course there are times when I have anxiety but I have tools that allow me to work through it. )
And if you are a Christian having anxiety or depression does not mean that you lack faith. You are not alone. You have the Holy Spirit, your comforter, your healer, your friend, and your counselor to help. You have the promise of a sound mind & peace beyond your understanding.
